Preservation, Collection and Data Culling
A large, experienced team of qualified computer forensic professionals is on hand to obtain forensically sound images and locate specific data required for each eDisclosure project. Adhering to best practice guidelines ensures that the integrity of the electronic data is kept intact. The subsequent ability to ‘carve’ the specified data can prove to be much more cost-effective than processing large amounts of data when only a certain amount of it is actually relevant.
Data Processing
The processing engine is probably the fastest and most powerful available today, and is run on 7Safe’s advanced computer infrastructure. The processing solution is also very cost-effective and incorporates de-duplication, metadata and text extraction. Our daat processing system can interrogate virtually any data set (emails, hard disks, disk images, etc.) in any language, identifying multiple languages in the same document and provides a filter to identify all Chinese, Korean, Arabic, Cyrillic, Japanese and non-Latin characters. The solution allows the ability to export non-searchable PDFs and TIFFs, have them OCR’ed, and re-imported as a child item to the original. The same methodology is used with password-protected documents, in that they can be exported, have the protection removed where permission is granted, and re-import as a child item to the original.
Hosted Document Review & Presentation
Reviewers are able to access the Hosted Review system via a secure Internet connection. The review software is easy-to-use and intuitive. Graphical representations can also be utilised to show clearly who communicated what, to whom and when. The Legal Gateway Hosting utilises 7Safe’s own in-house securely protected servers (to ISO 27001 security standards) and is available at a cost effective price, in the best interests of value to the client.
Production
Our fully integrated production tools offers flexibility during the production process. Documents can be branded with fully customizable production numbers, redactions and other production designations and produced in a variety of formats including single and multiple page TIFF images, PDF and native file. All production documents are maintained in the same database, giving designated users the ability to view the original document and every instance of its production.
